Now, we worry it's cyber-stalking...

Maybe that's because the over-the-fence chat between neighbors (gossiping about so-and-so's new boat) included all those non-verbal communication clues that it's "alright" for you to know this stuff.

... and given that you're a CPA, not a tech guy, shows how relevant this it to Humans, not just the digital technorati

Re: BrightKite Helps You Make IRL Friends

Also very excited to receive an invite. Why is it that I find myself so drawn to these sorts of things? I'm a doggon CPA for crying out loud, not a tech guy. Is it a symptom of not enough interaction IRL that I feel such a weird need to check all these online social networks out?

BTW I use Twitter off and on and enjoy using it to microblog and to see what everyone else is doing. I sometimes feel a bit odd though - sort of like I'm cyber stalking or something.

Anyway, cheers!
-Robb

Re: BrightKite Helps You Make IRL Friends

It sure has... if I can get my hands on another invite, I will let you know...

Re: BrightKite Helps You Make IRL Friends

Nice lil review! I have been trying to get an invite and give it a whirl, for some reason I can't get enough of social netoworking, and this only makes me more determined to get one.

Re: BrightKite Helps You Make IRL Friends

Ah, very exciting. Can't wait for my brightkite invite.

Some of my good IRL buddies are people I met from IRC & Usenet over a decade ago. Social networking has come a long way since.

Re: BrightKite Helps You Make IRL Friends

Dear Mom:

So you don't have to send me an email and ask, "IRL" means "In Real Life"...

Love, Me :)
